The light really does jump around in this one and it swirls around as much as the water and the surfers bobbing up and down and all around...I love the fact that the wave IS moving in a distinct direction, and there's a kind of a dance sort of a thing going on in this. It's quite exciting. I like the crop, too...it follows the shape of the wave, even though the wave is more of an undulation and the crop itself is largely straight, but still...it' works so perfectly. This is so well seen. This is really good! Top notch stuff.

some of the shots you've made of this ocean are simply ravishing. You get this 'fleece' look---golden fleece at that---which makes the ocean a big sea of silk & other lush fabrics. And the surfers are wonderful too---small as they are, loomed over by the grandeur of the water---as are the bluish undertones throughout. A very sensual, visceral capture of your beloved ocean, and one of many reasons you should have a camera...
