The view from the back yard before the party started. On the far left is the room I live in while I'm here; has big sliding doors looking out at the pool.

I really love the contrasting warm and cool colors and the whole party vibe going on in this picture. Even if there isn't a single person visible, the vibe is still there and well...you've captured it perfectly. There is an element of this picture that reminds me of Science Fiction from the 1950s...the good kind, not the schlock. I think it's the architecture, the colors, the pool...the warm, redness and inviting light: kinda like a colonial homestead on Beta Something-or-Other, out in the Glutinous Cluster or something. At any rate, I really like this photo and the inviting vibe. It has a real coziness that is quite welcome. Yeah, I like this a lot, and you really nailed the play of light in the night. Rock on!

well as you know I loved this shot as soon as it went up...it's a great night shot, with intense glowing lights in the dark, a wonderful share of golden & peach hues, the mystery of shadows in a home at night, and the big beautiful blue-green of the pool in front. The perfect evening shot of a house before anyone went inside it. It's filled with the promise of something big...Beautiful work Marilyn. The light is beautiful.
