...For lack of a more creative title.... My brain has preceeded me to bed tonight.
Just a little more playing around this evening.
Honey would love to have you join her as she explores the sculptures in the gallery on her lunch break from the busy office. Any takers?
I had a bit of trouble getting her tight skirt to cooperate with the pose. I've found that sometimes, one can actually make poke-through work to one's advantage. This really wasn't a split skirt, originally! A little poke-through, and little Photoshop accessorizing, and our lovely model gets to show a little shapely leg!
For the background, I'm using a photo I snapped with my little Fujifilm pocket camera. One has to be a little careful in some of these hoity-toity office buildings. Sometimes they get a little antcy when you try to shoot photos inside them. I have become somewhat adept at covert photography over the years! I suppose they have good reasons for discouraging photos inside thier office buildings.... After all, somebody might take one of those photos and put a hot chick in thier lobby that wasn't really there. LOL!
I used a couple freebies for her jewelry - Inception8's Ghost Machine earrings and bracelet, and RRcircle Pendant's necklace.

Wow.. that looks really nice. I'm always impressed when people manage to put 3D characters into a photographic background and have it look realistic and this certainly does. Your use of the poke through on the skirt is pretty cool.. and I like how you extended the trim around. She looks like she's having fun. :)

Nice job on the poke fix, you even managed to carry the leather seam around, which is an exceptional bit of postwork. Remember before you render it is often the model and not the clothes that are at fault and it is quite easy to change the size of a limb or even simply make it invisible. Or render the full image with the poke through and then render a partial with the limb off and then just paste over in postwork... very quick way to fix.

You da man Rod - lol... this is the best pop through I've seen in a long time and it looks soooo sexy - lol I think the guys that built those planters don't want you taking pictures, they get into the right hands, someone might tell them no one can actually see the plants - lol

Nice Rod...your render is superb and I even get the whole poke-through description...lemonade out of lemons for sure:) The shiny floor in your office building really catches the eye. A pat on the top of your little camera from me!

It can get frustrating when you get a non-cooperative poke through..sometimes it will work to your advantage...but most of the time...no. Great job on this Rod..you do such a fantastic job!

Opened the link, checked out the image, thought "Wow - cool skirt! I wonder if Rod made that one himself." Read your description ... LMAO! You rock! This is outstanding. Hard to believe anyone would be touchy about taking pictures in the lobby of an office building. I mean seriously ... do they think you're going to steal their decorating ideas? Take notes on the Chihuly she's pointing at? (My god, they're everywhere. The world is flooded with Chihuly!) As for the girl ... she is Trouble!! I'd advise you to keep a careful eye on her, but don't get involved. :D
