Description
Here is the 8 legged wonder I mentioned the other day. How on earth she actually survived the heavy frosts, I don't know, but survive it she did! She also managed to construct one of the largest webs I've come across this year. This was on the way into the small Scots Pine woodland adjacent to Par Sands, and I am guessing she spent some time protected inside the deeply ridged bark of a tree. Regardless, I find myself hoping she makes it through the winter. If there is a spider which deserves to, she is surely the one!
Thank you for taking the time to look. ^=^
