Here you see John an old neighbour of mine out walking his dog in the hoar frost. This was taken about 2 hundred yards/metres from my home on 08.12th.

The White Witch of Narnia would not like John's choice of attire, but I agree with others that it is a stunning jolt of color. John and his dog look so small in this world of white. I like how John is bent a little to avoid the frost on the branches. Beautiful tree,with wonderfully shaped dark trunk and limbs. Lovely bright stripe of white on the other side of the road(?) (Is that a street sign on the left?) and the dark line of the hedge. Excellent composition, detail, and contrasts! Superb shot!
