Hoping that you are not getting fed up with the hoar frost scenes around our town of Chard in Somerset, UK.
This is another shot along the lane we walk.

I love the way that even though it is cold weather and flowers are not in bloom, you really capture the offsets of color. The browns, greens, whites and blues really work together. Great shot!

Hoarfrost is like diamond chains. I never get tired of seeing it in pictures. Once when I lived in the USA south, we had hoarfrost needles on everything. It was barely freezing, foggy, moist and windless. They grew all night and the length was about 2 or 3 inches. It would be fascinating if you could get some long needles closeup WHILE giving us your usual well lit, excellent POV, as a clear background. This picture is very beautiful. Neat series!

I will never get tired of seeing these images. They almost (though only 'almost'), make me wish we had that here. We had it on the grass and lower regions, but nothing on the trees, despite low temperature - and it's going to return, so 'they' say. So - more images please! ^=^
