My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Oh yes, I can see the style and you did a wonderful job. Realy like the mono tone what is suitable for a subject.

Lovely shot made all the more better by the person and dog.

Fantastic lines and angles, and a very Escher-esque feel too. Yes, repeated Bill & Mandys on each level would definitely complete THAT likeness! Well done you!

Amazing structures with those vertical trees

Wonderful contrast between the man-made structure, and the natural environment. Superbly composed, and the monochrome is an excellent choice for this one. Superb photo, Tara!

It was ges one of those things, ges one of those deja vu things....... That's all I'm going to say, because I have tons of other postings to comment on, and time is short.

WOW! This is a very ges-esque capture and it's marvelous! It's funny how that happens: seeing the work of another artist and suddenly realizing that it's shifted, enhanced, or otherwise resonated with something you've experienced/seen at a very specific time. I love when that happens and you've allowed it to happen here. This is simply gorgeous!
ges
Interesting POV and well seen. Thank you for the link.

You have taken this from a great angle to get it looking its best. I see Bill and Mandy are getting some exercise while they wait for you to catch up.
