My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Reminds me of that song.... "Listen to the Rhythm of the Falling Rain" Aloha

nice angle

Wonderful angle. I love the idea of water--something "normally" associated with a cooler sort of sensation, and the warm colors of the tiles and platform thingies. That warm/cool combination really works for me. The sense of geometry is strong too, and it's completely played around with by the water fountaining and falling and that makes a really dynamic artistic tension. This is super! I like this a whole heck of a lot!

Lovely shot Tara now i've got to go and have a wee seeing that!!!
durleybeachbum
Brilliant!! The colours of the tiles/bricks whatever are really exciting.

Interesting shot Tara! I really love the POV with the tilt and all. The geometric lines in the sculpture(I'm assuming?) really add to the water falling - love your little narrative too! Great job!

Lol at jayfar's comment...excuse me, I'll be right back. Didn't get turned-on by the original of this fountain, But this presentation takes it from the mundane to the artistic! Way to go:)

Curious and fantastic photo.

Wonderful capture. The angle is an inspired choice. Makes the water seem as if it is falling uphill.
