Description

... at the End of the World, when the night was lighted by the moon's soft rays, and the woods were sweet with the odor of the flowers, then the Elves creeping from their holes and held a festival in the woods. Here is a place between two worlds. Not light and not dark, not divine and not evil. To this place came the elves of light, the tree elves, flower elves and fruit elves. They too danced and made merry. But when the moonlight faded away and the day began to break, then the elves scampered back to their holes. This is the elven maid Amarisa, the female main character of my story, who protects her homelands. I hope you will like it! Enjoy! *hugs*

This is an absolute beauty of a character and image! Beautiful composition by creating the oval with the trees, which frames it well. I like the grayed blues and the vibrant reds with the silvery light. Very well done.

Yes, this has amazing lighting... the word magical is overused but in this case it is the clearest that can be said of it. Her black and burgendy outfit are perfect for this dark scene. Very fine job of painting in the grass to fit her firmly into the scene. I have two questions: how did you get rid of the hood for this outfit... was it postwork? And two... what is the background? This is most excellent work.
