Bet you thought this was from the Hollow .. but it's from way up north in the Spackoine National Forest Sanctuary. There was an early snow, yes, December is really quite early for snow there. There have been rumors that it was UteBigSmile's birthday, so since she is wife of the Reigning Monarch Rene's Royal Wife, and I have my own little place and free rides on the transit system, I thought it was very appropriate to wish her Happy Birthday! Long may she reign, (we all know that the Monarch's wife is the real power behind the throne, grins), may her smallest wishes come true, may all the she dreams become hers.
Okay, now the truth. This is an autumn picture from the Hollow. I turned it black and white, then ran the infrared filter, and then brightened it and added contrast, and I just had fun with it. I posted it as 2D because I painted in snow.

Very cleverly done and your snow looks very real. My first reaction was that I would have to come and dig you out of the snow drifts and I broke the handle of the shovel the other day. Not that it would have been any good for snow work as it is so small but it is the thought that counts. This is a lovely scene for Ute.

Rita, you did such a splendid job on this birthday dedi to Ute and for sure it is one she will treasure. You really caught me off guard as the Hollow was my first guess. Have to say this too is a lovely area and makes for a picture perfect scene.

funny thing i realized you joined rendero at a 14th december and ute has bday 14th december hehehe. she will be delighted by this one very fine snow painted in, this is fine art for me. as for the transit system on spacko-we will expand of course and do some mapping of the infrastructure. (how i am supposed to do that i dont even know how big spackoine is in the first place-lol) and since you came up with spackovia, the journey started to write a story, then mikeerson throws me the challenge of creating maps along with some other weird ideas (lol),and i wonder who is coming up with the next idea hehehe. the weirder the better i am open to all suggestions . you keep me busy people and its sooooooooooooooooo much more fun even. thanks for your huge support received a million bots with three_grrr has added commented and this kind of stuff hihihi. have you a nice day
