Description

The countryside between Padova and Vicenza after a week's rain. I liked the way the farm and the trees are dwarfed between land and sky. In the background the Berici Hills where the Neanderthal people thrived in the Lower Paleolithic Period. We've walked a long way since then (I hope)! ;D Thanks for your kind comments.

There is so much primal stuff going on in this photo. It's as if you've walked in on a myth-in-progress...if that makes any sense. Those clouds and the puddle-dappled ground leading to the distant buildings are absolutely amazing. The blue tones in this are nicely cool and serene, but not cold. Really, really nice! This is fantastic.
