Description

This scene was so much fun, I was going to wait until next week to post it, but got impatient to share it. I did everything myself, except the distant castle, which is from Meshbox. Perhaps obviously, I copied the lantern design from DM's Elven Rock set because it just really caught my fancy, but it's on my Christmas list, so I'm not allowed to buy it right now. Anyway, have a great week everyone!

Fantastic!!! I love the curl in the rock and the icicle, a wonderful touch. Excellent job on the lantern too. I don't blame you for not being able to wait, it's absolutely stunning work and the atmosphere is perfection. Bravo indeed.

Beautiful and moody. I like this image quite a lot, for numerous reasons. It has a serene, but bleak beauty to it that I really appreciate. I use bleak as a descriptor because there is a pronounced absence of "life" though there are plenty of implications of life. There are no people, no plants, no animals...none in focus anyway. There is snow. There are rocks. There are inanimate things, and yet it is all so alive, so warm (despite the snow.) I really love it. I also think it's utterly hilarious that as I look at this image and write this comment, I'm listening to the soundtrack to the second Narnia movie: Prince Caspian, and it fits, strangely. This is totally your own glorious piece of work, but I can see Aslan the epic lion somewhere in the background of this, and well...I like that association...but maybe that's just because Aslan is--for all intents and purposes--a big, giant talking cat. I love this image and I am glad you posted it. It's fantastic. A favorite for sure!
