Description
This trail is in the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. My oldest grandson’s favorite trail also the flattest and easiest trail to walk. I haven't been able to walk trails for most of this year with a bump knee. But now I have the green light to ease back into the norm I decide this was the trail to rehab on. This bench is about half way down the trail and I was giving it a lot of thought to stop and rest. By the time I got here everything felt pretty well so I kept going; wasn't setting any speed records BTW. I arrived at antelope springs the end of the trail the bench there was a welcome sight. I found out why the Doc used the word ease when he gave me my instructions, I didn’t realize how week I’ve gotten form setting so much, yap, ease back into it is what I’m going to do.
You know it wouldn’t be so bad to get old if it wasn’t for all the side effects, LOL.
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit, and for any comments you care to leave.
Thanks for the favs on my last post, wishing all an awesome and creative weekend.

Lovely night shot of the old trail. And, you know you're getting old when you stop buying green bananas.

in some parks here the benches are so isolated I usually pass them .I walk at least 6 days a week and feel good, but let me walk with a woman shopping and my legs are killing me walking so slow.the post work puts an air of mystery

amazing and wonderful shot! great colors, love the light falling in the bench. great detail too! very mystical and desolate, almost scary at the end of the path. :) good luck with the 'easing back'!

I always appreciate when there are benches placed on trails. Walking is great but sometimes just to sit and enjoy the area is also a nice treat. And a good place to fix your camera settings... :)
