Looks like an old computer punch card. Very interesting effect.

The way you see simplicity in most things, is just overwhelming and understated elegance, which seems like a contradiction of terms and you achieved a great result - a different kind of triptych with a subtle kind of selective colouring. Exceptional Nikolay, BB

Such a joy to come here...I will write back to you soon but I wanted to come here & wish you a wonderful, loving & blessed holiday, and an equally wonderful 2011. This image is so minimal, but it's just what it needs to be. I've waxed poetic about your work so much, you're probably getting sick of it by now (lol), but I see this and think again, how did I never think that way? How did I never 'see' that way? This is so basic, so essential, yet it's completely new: That's a Nikolay experience. It's just windows, the grain of snow, the shadow of surroundings, a few vertical bands of hue---and a complete world. It's always a revelation for me to see things like this in your gallery. Beautiful work as always, and always touching parts of us we weren't thinking about when we arrived. Happy holiday to you, Nikolay, and thanks for this amazing gallery, and for your deeply appreciated support throughout the year. Hope you'll be with loved ones. Have a wonderful holiday!

What a work of art! There's always such a sense of wonder and a sense of mystery in your stuff, whenever I see it, and this is no exception. I adore your style and your uncanny sense of elegance and serene grace. This picture is just stunning: so simple and with so little in it, but it expresses so much--moods within moods, if I may misquote Frank Herbert here. This is stunning. I love the way you see, and what you show us as a result of that.
