A sad thought but creation is always accompanied by destruction. I imagine you are thinking back to the "Big Bang"- a miserable title for the greatest of events. You'll guess I'm no believer in the suggestion this universe came from nothing. though if there was an equality of matter and anti-matter where would we be? You have a picture to entice the imagination, and into things non-fractal.

Thank you all for your comments. Actually, Cliff, I wasn't specifically thinking about the big bang, nor to the creation story in the bible, just to the general thought of the universe being created (as in, coming into being) in some unspecified fashion.
