Description
Every year around this time there's a party at my sister-in-law's place. We decorate cookies, eat good food, drink good wine, and generally have a wonderful time. It's a nice, no-stress holiday function.
After everyone left, we stayed around for a little while to chat and take some pictures. There were tulips on a table in the living room which were irresistible, especially at this time of year.

Aw, gee! Is that what the weather is like in Seattle today? And I just posted some photos from my corner of the world! Quite different, I must say. Nice contrast with the different colors, but also with the different stages of a flower life - buds, full bloom, and withering. You got them all. Keep up the good work! :-)

Did someone say 'cookies'? mmmmm. I do have a fondness for Tulips...and cookies.These are a wonderful display.Did you get any pictures of the cookies? Tulips always remind me of a holiday we took in Holland, they have nice cookies too.The colours here seem to radiate warmth at this cold time of year, a bit like a tray of fresh baked cookies...mmmmmmmm.Thanks for another lovely post Tara, I love it.......and did I mention I like cookies too... :-)
