Description

They were sitting at the French cafe sipping their coffee with more than a shot of cognac, muttering strange words that hung frozen in the air just an instant, and were immediately scattered away by the chilly wind. They sat at the small table outside, headless of the icy night, lest someone may hear them inside. When the snow started again in earnest they hied away, wary of stopping for long in one place, but forgot the snow globe on a table in the hurry. When Little Snowman managed to reach the table to investigate about the feeble whinnies the tiny blue unicorn looked at him from inside. Can you go on? Thanks for your kind comments.

A most fascinating work of art and superb start to a potentially great story! I could only add that when the snowman touched the globe, he is transported to a magical land populated by many unicorns and snow people like himself and that he finds true happiness and shares it with everyone he encounters! "Are you real?", both the Snowman and Unicorn said of the impossible being which stared back at them through the frontier. If nothing else, they had that much in common at that moment, a confrontation with something that should not exist from a world that runs under different laws.
