Description

I long for the days when Christmas was as simple and gratifying as just having a tree to decorate. Fortunately, I'm not THAT old to remember those times, but I can dream. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very creative and Happy New Year to come. The carriage was a freebie from Share CG. the horse and M4 from Daz, The house from Rdna. Thank you also for the very kind and generous comments about "The Ballet". The warm welcome back is greatly appreciated. It's good to be here again.

OK, I said I longed for some warmth, but this can generate some inner warmth. We shouldn't over-romanticize the time you depict, because in most homes in was as cold inside as it was outside. But I understand your thought of a simpler and therefor more gratifying Xmas. We should learn to appreciate the simpler things again, and we'd probably end up feeling happier and more relaxed. It's a very nice scene you build here, quality enough for a professional Christmas card.

Well my friend I am (as old) you are so right in your dream. I can tell you stories seeing my grand mother lighting the wood stove in the early morning eating toast, toasted on the iron top of that stove (the taste is incomparable) I could go on and on...just not the right venue. Your image is beautiful beyond belief the memories that it brings back to me are cherished. Thant-you so very much. Very best of the holiday season to you and my your dreams come true ! George

A really amazing first class work with wonderful colors. The fir tree is very well depicted xfrog or hand painting? You are so welcome into the club for protecting the Christmas and the values that go with it. There are not many left of us! :)
