Description
After filling himself up on the food I put out. This cock sparrow has a nap in the brief bit of sunshine on his favourite perch. After over 3 weeks of sub zero nights these guys dive into the seed as soon as I turn my back. Taken though the bedroom window.

We have lost so many sparrows, in some places up to 70%! I put up a roosting box for them a couple of years ago, high up under the eaves and the few we have are using it, even sharing it with blue tits! Really wonderful image of this lovely little chap! ^=^
