Description

A shot from the frosted garden that I thought had to be converted to mono. It is deliberatly low key to make the frost stand out and shine. Trying to get it just as it seemed to me at the time. As it was hand held I had to use a wide aperture, I would have prefered to stop it down for more DOF but as they say "That's Light". It is a while since I slipped into mono mode. I used to do so much mono stuff from film cameras. I am always excited to see a moody landscape done in mono or infa-red. I am also glad it is still popular. It is years since digital colour totally dominated the photography world. It still has many fans I'm pleased to say.
