So THAT'S how Rudolph's nose glows! As far as the Santa thing - I'd personally feel bad lying to my son (even though I was a Santa believer myself), but if others do so, more power to them. However, it's the spirit and the tale of Santa that should be inspiring: being rewarded for kindness and good deeds, giving presents just for the sake of seeing others happy, and providing hope for those in need. That's what's important in the end, I think. Have a warm and wonderful Christmas, Lars!

A fantastic Christmas scene! Although we are big, it's beautiful to believe in Santa Claus and the goodness of men! We hope that children grow up with this love in heart! Merry Christmas to you too, Lars! Hugs! :)

This is a wonderful image Lars and it gave me a big smile :) Love this concept behind this of Santa cheating and I agree with your thoughts that it is good for kids to believe in him as long as they can. No sense in making them grow up any sooner than we have to. The world is a rough enough place without shoving them out into it too soon. Merry Christmas Lars to you and your pup

Good work on this humorous image.I kind of thought that Rudolf and the rest of those flying reindeer just might be mutants of some kind.

a delight, and it actually looks like rudolph is running on light, which is totally right for the season. I know it was a most trying year for you, and that makes your wishes & gifts all the more special. I've been here on & off and so have missed a number of artists & images, but I've seen all your work (after the holidays, I'll comment on more, incl "Home is where you hang your hat" which was just amazingly deft & beautiful & playful at the same time). Your work continues to have constant light in it always peering out from unexpected places, your way with sensuous hue, and that imagination---sometimes serious, sometimes very playful---that brings us to eternal childhood. I love the blue tint here, and the mysterious light, and the wonderful low ceiling over santa, and the saturated bright green behind him, etc. It speaks of your style & sense of transcendence. I wish you a loving holiday, Lars, and a new year that is a total turn from your last, and may light & love fall on you constantly. Thank you for what you give everyone here, you've blessed us all many times. I'm very grateful. And this is a wonderful image, just the right spirit of play and transcendence. Happy holiday and many, many more, for a long long time to come.

ROFL!!! Thank you dear Lars, for this laugh!! I had to look twice, and then zoom in and all of sudden my opened and I SAW!!! And I just burst out laughing! The dogs came running to see if I had gone crazy or something, LOL!! Wonderfully done Lars, and it is so good to see you doing humorous things again! I'm late wishing you a Merry Christmas, but I think it was, now that you and Kitty are in your home. A Blessed New Year to you, may it be a wonderful year filled with joy. I pray that you never again will find yourself in without a place of your own. I wish you and Kitty good health, and most of all that your bank account swells with lots of money.
