Wonderful image! Yep! it is open to interpretation. I understand what you are going through, You open a box and there is something that triggers a memory, for happy or for sad.

Stunning piece Lars!

This is super cool Lars, and now you have me wanting to figure out what it means to me. The scene really is almost like she is just becoming aware of the power around her.

If I figure out a meaning for the picture, I'll be sure to let you know. ;P But in the meantime I will bask in your unique creativity.

Place a new apartment is quite tiring! But slowly you'll see that you can do it! The roots... perhaps it's the desire for a finally stable place? Splendid work and fantastic atmosphere, Lars! :)

Splendid work and most creative. Perhaps you are trying to get to the root of your matter with the apartment. No pun intended.

Sometimes it's good to just let your art "happen", this "happened" beautifully .. I like it especially because it allows each of us to see what we need to see in it. Unpacking is difficult enough at best, you weed out stuff again, and always stop to look at things with a new eye, or go off on a memory triggered by a photo or something. Having had your things storage for a long time makes it even more difficult to unpack and get settled in.

Sometimes an artist should just put out there whatever comes to him - let people make their own sense and explain it to themselves. This makes the art become a more intimate experience for the viewer: THEY are supplying all the missing pieces, they are working at it - the picture becomes part of THEM. Really nice work on this Lars.
