Just to see the critters and wish them happy holidays on the way to grandma's.
Here is a little recipe to brighten your xmas!
No cooking!! yay!
NO BAKE BOURBON BALLS
1 c. semi sweet chocolate bits
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 c. bourbon or light cream or brandy
2 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
Melt choc. bits over hot water. Add syrup and bourbon, stir. Combine with crumbs, powdered sugar and nuts. If cream is used instead of bourbon or brandy, add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Let stand 30 minutes. Shape into 1 inch balls. Then roll in granulated or powdered sugar. Let ripen in covered container for about 3 days.
Yield: about 4 dozen.
