Last year I started my third period of photography after fifteen years silence.I began in the analog eighties and took primarily slides with my Pentax MX until it broke. Then, in the early nineties, I started digital photography with a very simple Logitech Fotoman. It was easy to operate because the camera didn't have any features except a flash! The surprise came ofcourse when I first downloaded pictures on my computer. The ease of working digitally convinced me. Still, after a few years, my interest declined.Until last year when I took a chance to work with a compactcamera, seeing other peoples work. In the end I bought a new camera myself. Eversince I can't imagine living without a camera.

I think you are very right my friend. It is a beautiful way indeed to spend Boxing Day! It sure beats trying to push your way through crowds in the shopping world today! :) A really terrific point of view…. I like how the mills seem to have a sensational vanishing point; that goes beyond the control of the imagination. A very solemn mood, with a sky that is most perfectly lit to contrast, a chilly, brisk wintery season. Bravo! Makes me feel like making some Oliebollens :P

Yes, it is a classic point of view but it is also one of the most beautiful points of view. I have been there almost one year ago.. I also made a stroll through the snow..
