Location: Segen City Cloister; Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg Hi everywhere! Thanks for your great interest at my last pics, thanks for your nice comments and the favs. A short history of this place: It is placed in Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg, a neighbourhood packed with an immense crowd of people and lots of onehundred years old houses. When their church was to small (40 000 christian members), they decided to build a new church and divide the community. So in 1906 they built this church here, the Segens - Church, which is situated in the backyard. In the foreground we can see a mighty doorway and the communtiy buildings, some flats, bureaus, stairways. In front runs a very busy main street. This church ensemble is an unique. In our days, especially in 2006, the rooms of the community and the side wings of the backyard were changed into the "Segen City Cloister"; it has meditation rooms, a small hotel for guests of community members and you can try religion for some days or weeks....
