Description

Just a quickie render tonight - I'm back on evening shift for the next month, so time will be at a premium for a while... I grabbed a copy of Bryce 7.1 a couple days ago, since DAZ had it on sale for 15 bucks. I just couldn't let that one slip by. I spent a few hours Sunday, bouncing back and forth between working on the latest TNA page, and fiddling with Bryce. The TNA page isn't done yet, so you're stuck with the Bryce render! LOL! Here we have a couple Ghoul fighters on patrol over an island - somewhere. It's probably Top Secret, just like the capabilitites of this hybrid craft capable of operating in both atmospheric and space environments. I found the Ghoul Fighter as an .obj file on 3Dvia, if I remember correctly. The .objs imported nicely into Bryce, where I added the water and island terrains. The only real postwork I did was to add the heat ripple effect from the fighters' exhaust in Photoshop. Thanks for all your great comments and support - they're all very much appreciated! Hope everyone has a great week!

That's pretty stellar Rod! Seems you have a knack for Bryce, too! I can't wait to see what you are doing with it in a few months if this is your first piece. Really good! Delaney

OH-OH!!! I didn't even know that ghouls knew how to fly anything much less having their own personalized fighters! That sounds very foreboding. Sounds like a job for those hot TNA babes. Take out the ghouls girls! All kidding aside Rod, this is pretty good for a quickie! I love the water! It looks amazing. I have been fiddling with the Terra Dome set from Runtime DNA. The water looks pretty from the add-on for that too. I didn't do anything worth uploading though. Just a tall ship sitting in a harbor of an island. The water looks great though. Gotta go see if I can get 7.1 at a decent price.

Like this at the zoom Rod...heat waves look cool. Fighters remind me of some 1960s/70s US Navy fighter/bombers with fairly major add-ons:) So DAZ and Bryce now...is there anything you won't try to bend to your will? ;-)))

I like this a lot. Kinda nice to see this at the tail end of 2010...well, it's already 2010 in Australia. Figures! They get everything first down there! Anyway, this rocks. I like this a lot. That motion blur is really nice, and it looks cinematic. A bit like a screen capture. Really nice details though so its like a full on render rather than just a capture. I like this a lot.
