Location: Lucia Christmas Market, Culture-Brewery; Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg Dear friends, What could be better at a visit on a Christmas market some days before the fiesta? It is cold and dark, the days are short - and countless lights are shimmering, and wonderful decorated little wooden houses offer their goods - presents, art articles, a hot wine or something to eat like this.... I love the Christmas markets...we visited Munich 3 times I think and Wurzburg.and Prague. The lights,stalls, smell of gluhwein ,smoked sausages and the great atmosphere make the markets special. They are becoming more popular in UK..I've been through Manchester many times in Dec and the markets were very popular..with a German flavour Happy New year!

Christmas Markets are such fun, such a wonder. I've only experience two of them, in Prague, but WOW! So much food! So many sausages! So many MORE sausages! And in case you don't like Czech sausage, there were plenty of other alternatives, such as...well, ok...sausage. I love this shot, and it brings back fond memories. I'm glad I saw this.
