. These Stones are partially finished corbels for London Bridge which were never collected.

what a special story.. made me stop surfing for a second.. so.. far away from londen are these enormous blocks.. forgotten.. blending into the landscape.. not needed ? or... strange.. and mindwave creating at the end of our year.. eh.. for some it is already 2011.. they know how it is.. we still have to wait hours make it a good year a year of joy, love and happynes.. full of health and creativity

'scuse me guv'nor, wanna buy a watch?, nylons for the lady?...tell you what, I like you so how about a genuine piece of London Bridge.Never been used,buyer collects, reasonable price and I'll throw in the nylons for free.... Don't laugh, there used to be 12 pieces (probably). You never fail to bring the most interesting objects to light, you don't happen to know were King Arthur is...do you?...it wouldn't surprise me. Thanks Pat, a marvelous finale to the year.....roll on 2011 Happy New Year !!!!!!!

Wow I gotta say that's the coolest thing I have seen all day. Wonderful historical find. So these are from when it was widened in 1902 I'm guessing.
