Description

this is my story for New years Day, got up at 6am, left home at 7am, arrived at the card park 8.15am. started walking at 8.30am, arrived at our Destination Fur Tor, Dartmoor 12o'clock, left at 12 30 , as its far to cold to stop long, just long enough for a photo shot, & wish everyone a happy New year , got back to the car at 4,15pm. Approx 12 hard miles all together. but enjoyable.it was very foggy.

Mad ?.... I'd say so, 06:00am on New Years Day! I didn't know there was a 06:00am today. I was lucky to see the a.m at all :-) As the image shows you where not alone in your maddness.I have to say the young lady on the left appears to want the photos over with so she can nip behind the rocks. I admire your fortitude, Happy New Year...

The rocks behind the crowd and the casual line up of bodies makes this spectacular. I would have enjoyed the hike so much. What a wonderful way to celebrate the new year.

That rock formation is very interesting. Its as if someone had stacked it one on top of the other. Great group picture and Happy New Year. Aloha
