AKEMASHITE-OMEDETOU(明けましておめでとう)means "Happy New Year!" She holds a bell of the shape of the rabbit in her hands. This year is the year of the rabbit. It is lucky to have animal of the year-shaped thing. Happy New Year! A rabbit is a jumping animal. Well, I still have a chocolate bunny left over from Easter, so I'm covered! LOL! What a beautiful work of art, Fujiko-san! She is so lovely in her beautiful traditional clothing. Beautiful work, Fujiko! I like the folds on her clothing. I still miss yakisoba, for some reason they taste different here in the US. Nothing can equal the real taste of it that I only tried when I was Yokosuka and Sasebo. Happy New Year, my friend!
