Description
For those you who awoke this day under grey skies, I post this! I've no idea when I took it - probably last year sometime - but it still serves to remind me, whatever is going on, especially if the 'whatever' is not welcome - that 'this too shall pass'.
A Happy 2011 to everyone - and most importantly of all, a healthy one!
Thank you for taking the time to look. ^=^

I love the way this reach upward. Excellent composition. The color is vibrant and you did not overuse the postwork.

Marvelous. I awoke to a gray beginning of the new year, but then, I also awoke with the strains of a Jane Sybery song going through my mind, and as the title of that song states so eloquently: "It can't rain all the time." I love the reference this picture makes to that. It's quite a beauty and I love the postwork. It's subtle but definite, and I get a sense that you photographed something alive and in flux. Bossoms don't last forever, as we all know, but each time we see one, it's always a promise of new ones next year...and they're easier to look at than earwigs, unless you're me and remember those days of keeping earwigs as pets. Yep...I was a weird kid and I did things like that. But anyway, back to this. I love this shot and the sentiment behind it.
