Description

After experimenting ith Radiosity for a while, I ended up with this picture. I took almost 20 hours to create this one. You know it is real hard work to try to render with radiosity - but I went to the whole procedure. Change something... render the pic... change something... etc. Now, I have to take a break from this work. I'm not really satisfied with the result, so every comment to improve this picture is welcome. Ah, by the way: I takes 60 Minutes to render it with 2GHz.

I like it, it looks very nice. I know what you mean about radiosity... The left and right of the window wall looks lighter than the middle and the left side looks like there's a curtain there. Is that correct or am I misinterpreting the picture? I'm not sure how you could improve the image. Maybe give a little more shine and reflection to the coffee table and make the edges of the couch and armchair a little rounder and give them a bump map? But I already like your picture the way it is. :)

A beautiful sense of space and light. I can't find a shadow source for that middle section of the far wall being darker, but overall - very lovely light.

Oh, it seems, that the curtains are'nt easy to recognize? So you see, it isn't really a "shadow" - it's just this: There are no curtains. I've got to push them aside to open the window behind them ;o)

Nice work. I like the look of the lime washed polished floor. I wish I had radiosity...:-(
