The Albany Carousel is open to the public and those who work there are eager to give you a tour. You can see both finished work and work in progress. The artists are friendly and informative and, as you can see, taking pictures is encouraged.

I love carousels that have all different kinds of animals. A fascinating place. It's interesting to see the drawings on the walls. It would be fun to follow the creation of an animal from the first idea of it, to the completed form. Poor mouse! Forever captured in a cats mouth, going up and down while children shriek all around. Beautiful eyes on the cat and great capture of them. Excellent shots and information!
