Description
Just a little something for all my fellow Capricorn's, our birthstone Garnet. These are low grade or fractured and have been put through a fine grit tumble. Being a little rough looking gave me the title.
Thought I'd try my luck sticking the camera into a bin or two at last years annual rock show held about 30 minutes from home.

All you need to do is pick through that pile to find the one without fractures, then run really fast!

Ah, Yosemite--what a magic place that is--I've never seen it in the winter either; it must be gorgeous!! Love this shot, too, I've never seen gems in the raw before, they have a unique beauty.
