Description

Did you know that scorpion's fluoresce under a black light? At the same rock show from the Garnet post, there is a UV tent with many specimens. Amongst one exhibit were some scorpions, all the specimens both rocks and scorpions are behind glass. No flash, of course, and a quick hand held shot as this is a popular exhibit in the show. The line going through this tent never seems to stop! To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2153941.jpg

Very cool and I didn't know that, but then I can be excused as we don't have scorpions down here and I haven't seen a real one.

I didn't know that either and we do have scorpions around here. What a great idea to showcase them like this. I'm not surprized the line is long. Excellent quick shot! Great composition and capture of the glowing fellow!

Are you sure you didn't just copy this from Faemike's gallery? A very cool image. If I ever go camping in the dessert I'l have to bring along a black light.
