Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

SOOO gorgeous! It does look deep, but it can't be!

That looks like a rip to me and a nasty on at that. Cool shot though. The contrast is between the colours...and also getting sucked out to see or not!

Beautiful blue! Of course I immediately thought of the opening to "Hawaii Five O". I really need to get out more. Great shot!

Colors and angles ... superb shot! This is top notch stuff, my friend. Love it!

Great Scott, not only is the sea a deep blue, it's a veritable jet black violet, Maz! Love the foam and froth contrast texture of the waves and water lapping at the shore.

The colors in this are largely variations of blue--obviously with other colors thrown in, but I love the way that for all of the blue, the balance between black and white is so well defined. This is marvelously seen, but then, as I've said before, the sea is yours, so naturally you'd see stuff most other people might miss. I love the angle of this too, and the way that the black looks so deep...this is well done. I like it a lot.

It is strange how cold the water looks and I'm loving all that seafoam. Dana
