Description

I was playing around with our new Cannon SX30IS. Nice upgrade from the Sony Mavica we bought in 2003. The puppy is a nice addition too. We found him on the road two days after Christmas.

OMG, who would leave such a little baby all alone in a road? You are such a good Person for taking him home with you. A beautiful Picture. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

Sometimes a dog's life can be pretty darn good. Total bliss.

Puppy is adorable. I once saved a puppy who had lost its mother and its litter mates had died of hunger. This wonderful pup was about to be killed by a panther who was stalking it. I pulled over and grabbed it. It had rickets, was full of worms and we didn't know if we could save it. She ended up being the most perfect companion anyone could ask for. I love this shot. I love that you saved it.

The story is quite odd actually. He is a Plott Hound. The older one in my avatar was found on the same road at the same spot exactly 8 months earlier. Plotts are rare in our area, in fact I had never seen or heard of one before finding the first. To find two dogs of the same rare breed (for the area) in the same spot 7-8 weeks old exactly 8 months apart stretches the imagination. Thank you for the comments.
