Description
This is Shingle Creek - a few blocks from my house - The weather was pretty good so I decided to take the dog and camera for a walk ! You know - the old two birds with one stone trick :)

This has a really bleak sort of beauty as only Winter can produce. There is a crispness to it, a really fantastic sense of stillness too. That sun looks bright, but I know how deceiving that can be. I love this shot. The bare trees, the frozen creek, the light and shadows playing. This is a really fantastic piece of work.

I have tried taking both of my large dogs walking with a camera and I learned real quick,it was not so smart.my dogs are not well behaved walking beautiful creek and shot
