For something a little different in style - Still life is often a bit tedious or boring for me - to do and to view - I am still undecided on this - So I thought I would ask the experts - You -Taken on Christmas Day - Take Care !

Lovely pottery my friend. I love the green. I believe it would be nice to have a star of this nature fill the emptiness of these vases. A flower that would delight any vision of your labors. Nice work. Crowns me sometimes I delirium but a pill and it'll pass like. I let a thousand smiles ((5 + +)) Belle poteries mon ami.

Well, you asked... :-) If I did this one, I would first be sure to crop out the light source and the ceiling - make it short and long in composition. Then, I would have taken a slightly different pov - one slightly above the shelf, cropping the bottom at the front edge of the shelf. The shadows would be dramatic on the wall and perhaps on the shelf as well. Moving more to the front of these but not dead-on would give perspective and warmth. You have shown a great deal of talent in your initial attempt of this still life. Try doing a few different camera elevation and move around it left to right to find what is most comfortable and appealing to you.

I can't say, I agree with the experts - personally I believe this is far more interesting - with the light source and not boring at all, it really adds that little extra to the composition, well done Greg, BB
