Description

I have spent the last week trying to retrieve files from an external drive which crashed because of a power cut as it was being written to! Even SpinRite couldn't do as well as I had hoped, so many files have gone the way of the Dodo! However, some of the newer ones were on C so all is not lost! Anyway, I've ceased sitting in the centre of the Moors, hugging knees and crying into the Gorse! 'Tis darned cold up there. ^=^ This sculpture is practically on Par Sands. It is placed on a triangle of grass leading to the beach. I have tried often times to find out the origins but no one seems to know anything about it, though it does rather remind me of the sort of piece Rachel Whiteread would do. It wouldn't surprise me if it was not at least a nod at her work by some new artist and I must admit, I love to have it in my garden. Thank you for taking the time to look. ^=^

This is absolutely stunning: it reminds me of an odd sort of still life in stone. I love the mysterious aspect of it. And wow...the tale you related: hopefully any lost data is retrievable. This is an excellent shot, marvelous lines and contours. I like this immensely.
