Description

"Don't retreat, reload!" "If ballots won't work, bullets will!" "I want everybody armed and dangerous...". Threats of "Second Amendment remedies" as campaign slogans. Threats to "take out" a standing U.S. Senator from an opposing candidate. Each word has the same un-American meaning: "You vote my way...or I'll make you pay!" Such words are the traffic of thugs. Such are the words of "Third-World" hell-holes! Since the 2008 elections, such words have been the traffic of Republicans, Conservatives and Tea-Baggers, and Right Wing Impresarios. Each one wrapping themselves in the flag and claiming to defend the Constitution. These are not the words of both sides. Neither are they the words of patriots. These are the words of Right Wing extremists. As we increasingly see our flag at "Half-Staff", we see the wages of such rhetoric. Ben Franklin once said: "When passion governs, she never governs wisely." FOX has 3,000,000 viewers. Is it really such a stretch that 1% (30,000) of those might be swayed by those words? Of those, if only 1% took up arms, that would be 60 per state, each a potential assassin. Words have consequences. On January 8th, 2011, they had deadly consequences.
