Description
So, was waiting and waiting for this render to finish (which I will post soon) and decided to try texturing these cool boots. The green leather was done with a leather texture (free resource on the web) and the swirly design with some pngs I've had for awhile.
The texture on the heel and buckles isn't mine - still trying to figure out how to hook stuff up, but the rest is. Just thought I'd share to see if anyone had feedback on it. Or how to do this. I'm slightly clueless. :)
Boots are Over the Knee Boots, new at Daz.. buckles and heel right now from the hot boots textures.

absolutely beautiful Delaney the green is wonderful against the ochres and browns the only thing that doesn't quite work is that the heels have reflected a golden metallic look onto the floor but they look black - a little confusing visually I love the concept and the light well done friend

Nice work on that texture, Delaney! I just got those boots, too - gonna have to try some textures when I have time. Did you apply the tex in the mat room? I've just started to figure out how to create the poses so you can add them withoout using the mat room by using an editor (I found CR2 Builder on the web for free). Takes a bit of back-engineering, but I was able to create a freebie package for the Fresh Liberte dress. It's fun trying to figure all this stuff out - when I have time (which isn't much anymore, unfortunately). Anyway, you did a great job on these boots!

Hi Delaney! I like this minimalist presentation. The render is excellent and the green and ocre make a beautiful symphony . There is a mysterious golden reflection? What is it? A key to the underworld? I know, I always build up stories :o) Cheers Odile

Love those boots, guess if I have them on my wishlist already... :) And your texture looks amazing, Delaney! That ornament's lovely curves follow the boots form so elegantly! With this texture I like these boots even more! Vashek PS: I have no experience with texturing in Poser or DS, unfortunately - but I'm sure there are lots of other more experienced fellow artists that will be pleased to help you!

Any gal who wears those boots has my attention. (It IS a gal wearing them, right?) Any gal wearing boots like these as flats (great for combat and hunting, stylishly, of course) also has my respect. If she's a redhead, I worship her.
