after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

Uma obra magnifica e de excelente realização, meu amigo, aplausos (5) Think that all the pains of our friends need our strength so that we can pass them a high energy. You with your art, friendship and wonderful heart should remember how much good is doing and its importance. Don't let depression you slaughters, these friends need you.A magnificent and great realization, my friend, applause (5)

good throw... I can understand you are depressed. but that does not help the ones we love I see it on Australian TV.. Politicians who (fake) cry and I think That does not help anybody... We got to be strong so those who have pain can lean on us... They need our smile.. our warmth .. our strength... Make images.. they make people happy

Excellent composed scene with a lot a fine details, Steve, and this witch is a gorgeous beautie! You have an excellent creativeness inside you. I see one of your finest works here, great art! I'm sorry you feel that way right now but life is up's and downs sometimes. I can't see it influenced your creative artwork - and I can share a little of my own experiences. I grew up to a not very funny life or didn't feel any support from no one near me - I was in great part of my childhood and youth much on my own. Not very happy sometimes but I have one great thing: My great creative and artistic sides who helped me a lot when I was down or a bit depressed. I could sometimes feel a lot of pity for my self but after a while my brain starts to create stories and images which get me on the track again. From very early on I wrote stories, in my head or on papers - and later on I work with both theater and film making in different ways as creator. Doing something I really felt something for and enjoy! Latest, I started to do 3D renders about 3 years ago and discovered a wonderful world where I could visualize my ideas and stories. But also I found a lot of other peoples like my self doing great art and some become good friends who I admire and respect much for who they were as persons. You have great artistic skills, Steve - use them to give you calmness and peace in, a for the moment, chaotic mind. Best wishes, Rhanagaz aka Johnny C.

Steve, wouldn't it be nice if we could levitate all our troubles and unpleasantness and then toss them out the window into the great abyss? This image is as amazing as ever and the time you take to include details that make it a complete scene is more than amazing. I love the concealed skull and her image duplicated in the globe, but the mouse eyeing up the cat that's eyeing up that same mouse made me laugh out loud. Hang in there, my friend, there is some form of sunshine behind EVERY cloud. hugs, Linda

1st of all.... Well Constructed Scene Steve..Beautiful Character Art.. Life is short my friend...as it has been noted throughout here with all those who have exspressed their concerns..It happens that not everyone can stay consistent on their commenting..I try and stay as current as possible but you and others will agree that if you don't stay current on a daily basis and stay away for even a day that the magnitude of art that is uploaded here makes it almost impossible to keep up...My morning/evening ritual takes me about 2 hours each time to scroll back through 10/15 pages and if I miss a day or am busy with life outside of Renderosity it can almost be impossible to catch up and sometimes you do miss commenting on people that are your friends here. It's not that they are/I or we don't comment because we don't want to...it could be a multitude of reasons..(i.e)...maybe we didn't like it?..and are not going to comment just to comment...I would rather have a comment because they found my art worth commenting on rather than they comment just because they are just following the trend.Trust me my friend you create some of the most exciting/interesting/beautiful art out there but I myself don't and won't always comment if I don't find it to my liking...I would think an honest comment would be more welcomed than not commenting or just following along with everyone else.I know each and every artist here puts a lot of time and effort into each and everything they have created and in our mind we think it's comment worthy but not all see it that way and sometimes we are left to wonder as you are now..Trust me Steve...You have a lot more friends here than you realize and please take the comfort in knowing just that..I sure hope after reading this that "WE" can still be friends and if you were looking for feedback then you got your wish...Like I said buddy...your art on the most part is 99.9 percent outstanding and deserves the attention it deserves.I just wish I had the following that you have here and then maybe...just maybe I would make the charts for once...(smile) Your Friend In Art...(Hopefully Still) -=Will=-

indeed steve and if it continues that way we have to add a special prayer shift, with all the crap going on. i decided whatever it takes i go my way with my renders the way i always do. and i would suggest you do the same . play with whatever you want and go ahead to me its a big help doing some art,and i guess to you it will be the same . keep it up. nice render by the way.
