after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

Well Steve, I'd say by the responses you're certainly not lacking in friends here at Rendo, and your art is wonderful. I've found creating a fantastic and cathartic release from the day-to-day crapfest that I like to call "my life", as have many here from what I've read in multiple bios, etc. Jobs can suck but I'll tell you, NO job like me is worse. I live in one of the highest unemployment areas in the country and it gets totally depressing and disheartening at times. Boom, time to do a render! This is a nice one once again, I love all the little details you put into your works and can certainly appreciate the time you spend setting things up. Things WILL get better, they always do... ;)

I'm sorry you're feeling down, but it sure hasn't affected your artistic ability! I'm sure things will come around for you. Very nice work on this picture.

These are very trying times, indeed! My job is getting to be like the pain of an abcess tooth. I hate to go in every day, but I must to stay under my roof and put food in my familie's bellys. I definately feel your pain with the loss of friends/acquaintances and loved ones, having had many vanish this past year as well. I know that if I didn't have this outlet here at Renderosity, my mind would be in a far worse place than it is now. I am glad you continue to be creative. I know it helps me and I am sure it must help you. As far as writer's block goes, you don't need to worry about that. This wonderful work of art here speaks volumes for your creative talents. Don't worry about the things you can't change. Take each day as it comes. Try to be thankful for what you have and if you can put a smile one even only one person's face, life is still worth living! Best of luck to you in the times ahead. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. And above all, keep on creating! A great big hug from me and thank you for sharing you marvelous talents with us here! We are all fortunate for the privilege!

Boy I wish I could move stuff with just the wave of a hand .. Wonderful details here Steve, a beautiful work! You are love here. sometimes people just come and go in and out of our lives, and we don't know why. But I guess there is a reason, but at this point in my life, I don't see that dwelling on it, or worrying about it changes anything. So focus on the people who are still your friends .. even those of us who are chronically late with comments, but eventually I catch up! I better thank you right here, in public, for all the faves, for all the support, and especially for coming by my gallery even when I haven't made it to yours. Now THAT'S a friend!
