Description

Yes, this is inspired by the Evanescence song--her voice is so intoxicating. O_O Anyway, this was for a goth-themed contest over at DAZ. :) I dedicate this one to Fabiana. So many of her beautiful sets brought this piece to life--in particular Noctia, Sage Babylon, and the Essential Floors. Also, while goth is not particularly my "scene," Fabiana has inspired me with so many of her soft gothic scenes that really set the tone for this piece. :)

Lovely render to go with that such beautifully sad song by Evanescence. Evanescence and POTF are my 2 favorite groups out there, and I don't do the Goth thing either. I just love Amy Lee's voice and vocal style, she gives the group that epic movie soundtrack quality :) The woman in the render definitely looks like she's at a loss. The dark cloudy backdrop enhances that mood and feeling. The lighting is perfect here, candle light upon the skin, and the reflective glossiness on the checkered marble tiles and stairs is really a nice touch. Well done! :edit - typos:

I donĀ“t know HOW I missed this... but is certainly a magical thing that I see it today. I am hearing Evanescence RIGHT NOW... and that is my favorite song... I have been at Universal Studios past week, there are a Roller Coaster where you can choose the music you want to hear meantime you run there... and I selected that song!!!! Coincidences, magic, spells... wow this is great!!!! Thank you so much for the image, even I am late seeing it, it filled my soul with lot of new images and feelings... thank you Zaarin, specially today :)
