Description
For once I'm just gonna let the picture speak for itself. :)
EDIT: Just wanted to clarify that the figure in armor kissing the man in the robes in the background is a woman; it can be hard to tell with the short hair and the non-flattering armor. :)

The son doesn't look all that happy to see his father; I guess he's been away for a long time. I imagine seeing Daddy with an artificial arm could be a little upsetting, too.

I agree with Treasurer and Battle...on top of that excellent render, outstanding lighting and a little romantic scene in the background.

Why should it matter what gender the armored figure is? Honestly. The picture spoke well enough for itself. sigh

Poor little guy's thinking of the spankings he'll be getting now. Cool cast of characters. Neat idea.

Didn't mean to miss out on commenting on this scene earlier, just been busy the last while. Really good work on the posing and lighting. The picture does speak well for itself. It goes to show that homecomings can really be a mixed bag of experiences. The soldier's just happy to have survived his tour of duty, having been able to walk away from it and still be greeted by his family. The mother's either momentarily unfazed by the prosthetic, or just hiding her concerns and emotions really well. The boy's kinda beside himself, which I can understand - "daddy's home but something's happened to dad..."

Nice image, but why should it matter if it is a man or woman kissing somebody?
