Last year I started my third period of photography after fifteen years silence.I began in the analog eighties and took primarily slides with my Pentax MX until it broke. Then, in the early nineties, I started digital photography with a very simple Logitech Fotoman. It was easy to operate because the camera didn't have any features except a flash! The surprise came ofcourse when I first downloaded pictures on my computer. The ease of working digitally convinced me. Still, after a few years, my interest declined.Until last year when I took a chance to work with a compactcamera, seeing other peoples work. In the end I bought a new camera myself. Eversince I can't imagine living without a camera.

You hit "paydirt" with the gull!!! Question:.? how did you manage to train the bird to fly into a perfect position so you could take an AMAZING photo????

I find this image very interesting in more then one respect. I appreciate the clarity and composition of it..To the human mind symmetry and geometric shapes is a very special concept, and the triangle is an incredibly strong shape. I haven't see a bridge without a triangles, but it never actually triggered my curiosity to count them. I am familiar with the formula for counting triangles….. but even more interesting is the challenge you took to photograph them with such great perfection.

How lucky you were to have the gull included in the frame. Pythagoras and Pascal would be in their elements here!
