I know that this is a very simple image - I wanted to concentrate of the emotion and the character interaction of two friends who care about each other, but who will never see each other again. I used a stock character for her which worked fine as she is the stronger one in this image. I created a sensitive character (based on Victor Sevaux) for him to show off his vulnerability and his expression. However, I feel like I could have done more with this. Whenever I add more plants or buildings in the back, it looks too busy and detracts, and I wanted to keep the lighting bright because the tears don't render properly otherwise. Suggestions please?
