Description

Last week I was drinking in this winter sunset in the outskirts of Padova , when a plane arrived almost ready to land. It looks I was beneath the route to Tessera, the area where Venice's Marco Polo Airport is. So, welcome to Venice, whoever you are! Thank you for your kind comments.

I wish I was on that plane! I'm really impressed with that sky. What clouds and colors and then the silhouettes of the trees are marvelous. So stark. The whole balance of this picture intrigues me. I have a clear indication of where to look, but my eye naturally wanders and jumps around. And always, I keep coming back to the light and the almost buttery quality of it. WOW. This is really great.
