My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

When I read this: "B-25D (Grumpy) - 1943" I thought of the plane saying to the new planes, "You kids with your GPS navigation and automated systems. We had analog and we considered ourselves lucky! You young show-off kids stay off my runway!" Which has nothing at all to do with the photograph, of course. :)

Great contrast in style and purpose, the ultra shiny 'civvie' and the slightly chipped and scuffed 'warbird'.Both perfect, and well matched by you.

Little did the hangar arrangers know that they were positioning these two airplanes perfectly for you...like the way you've tied these two aircraft together by age...angles and cropping. I didn't "see" this until you presented it this way:*

Wow, what a coincidence, to be in the same hangar as Bill and taking pics of the same aircraft. Serendipity galore!
